The Edgewater Hotel

For Emily and Mark, live music has always been a constant—something they’ve prioritized throughout their relationship, often planning trips around rock and alternative concerts across the country. So when it came to planning their wedding, it made sense to center the day around something that already held so much meaning. The Edgewater Hotel, with its history of hosting iconic rock-and-roll artists, immediately stood out as the right venue.

The couple pulled that thread through the design in subtle but intentional ways. Escort cards were styled as concert tickets, each one referencing an actual show they had attended together. It was a personal touch that doubled as a visual timeline of their shared history. Emily’s style choices also echoed the same blend of classic and edge. Her dress—a timeless lace silhouette—was paired with studded Louboutin platform heels that gave a nod to her love of chic fashion and rock-n-roll.

Once guests found their names in “will call”, the concert ticket escort cards led them back into the room where the ceremony was held. The transformed space was set with ivory and soft pink linens, as well as gold compote centerpieces filled with garden roses and ranunculus. The floral palette stayed light and tonal, echoing the clean, fresh aesthetic that carried through both the ceremony and dinner. With the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Puget Sound, the sun setting over the water encompassed the formal dinner setting in warm, golden light, allowing guests travelling to the Pacific Northwest for the first time to truly get a glimpse of its stunning landscape.
