Fremont Foundry

After touring multiple venues across the Greater Seattle area, Dilara and Travis found themselves drawn back to a space that felt unmistakably like home. Nestled just down the street from their inner-city loft, the Fremont Foundry—once an industrial iron processing facility—offered the perfect blend of raw texture and modern edge. With its exposed cement walls and sleek metal accents, the venue mirrored the aesthetic of their own residence. More than just a backdrop, it embodied the spirit of their relationship: urban, grounded, and undeniably authentic. They knew immediately that this was where they wanted to welcome their loved ones.

The day began with a relaxed neighborhood photoshoot, weaving through the streets and corners of the area they call home. From there, guests gathered atop the Fremont Foundry’s rooftop, surrounded by sweeping urban views and the hum of Seattle city life below. The rooftop ceremony set the tone for the celebration—intimate, relaxed, and effortlessly cool.

As the evening continued, guests were welcomed into the venue’s striking industrial interior for dinner. Long, communal tables stretched across the space, softly lit by rows of flickering candles. The family-style meal invited conversation and connection, with guests passing shared dishes while live musicians played from a tucked-away corner of the room.

Once dinner ended, the crowd wasted no time filling the dance floor. Energy spiked as Dilara’s Turkish relatives kicked things off with the Halay—a fast-paced, traditional circle dance that quickly pulled others in. From there, the party only escalated. It was a high-energy crowd, with guests raising their drinks in the air, barely keeping them in-hand as they jumped up-and-down shouting lyrics at the top of their lungs to nostalgic throwbacks, like Mr. Brightside.

After hours, the celebration continued just across the alleyway at one of the couple’s favorite neighborhood haunts—a vintage pinball arcade. Casual, chaotic, and perfectly unpolished, it was the perfect low-key establishment to carry the celebration into the early hours.

“Working with Alyssa was the best decision I made when planning my wedding. She advocates on your behalf from the first day, and truly listens.

I worked with her for two years planning our wedding and she was accessible, easy to work with, and so organized. Nothing fell through and we truly had a seamless and stress-free planning/day-of experience. I am so thankful for her!!”
