Full Planning + Design

Kiana Lodge

Living across the country and both immersed in time-intensive jobs, Laura and Jeremy were struggling to plan their Pacific Northwest wedding at Kiana Lodge. With Jeremy’s affinity for the color orange and Laura in love with the color purple, the two were stuck on how to incorporate both colors into their fall wedding without the whole aesthetic becoming “too much” or evoking a Halloween theme.

Pacific Engagements stepped in to design a romantic and elegant wedding that complemented the waterfront venue’s natural allure. To balance out the two bold colors, we introduced a neutral taupe color into the color palette, relegating the vibrant hues to secondary roles in the design. A seasoned wedding florist, specializing in loose, organic, nature-inspired arrangements, was enlisted to ensure the fusion of orange and purple was executed with intention and taste.

To elevate the wedding design, we selected textured linens, wooden dining chairs, and a wooden chuppah. Amidst a profusion of autumn leaves and seasonal blooms in rich, warm colors, Jeremy and Laura celebrated their wedding surrounded by candlelit tables and the energetic performance of a live band.

“Alyssa knew what questions to ask to learn about us and our preferences - and she listened. While she always provided her suggestions and advice as a professional, she still knew how to bring it all together to make our day feel so perfect, so personal, and 100% us!”
