Six months before their wedding, Tyler and Lauren reached out to Pacific Engagements because they decided to switch wedding venues last-minute. Starting completely from scratch, our team helped them to build a qualified vendor team who could execute their dreams of a glamorous, modern, romantic, and fun celebration.
We worked together to evolve the large ballrooms within The Westin Dallas Downtown into inviting, fresh, contemporary wedding settings. Each component of their wedding celebration featured elevated, modern details showcasing a fresh neutral color palette of white, taupe, and gold.
Our largest priority was designing the ballroom interiors in an organic manner that was not reminiscent of stereotypical, outdated, gaudy ballroom weddings. We brought in modern elements like a “growing” floral ceremony aisle, velvet-lined chairs, an 8-ft asymmetrical welcome sign, crushed ivory linens, clear acrylic and gold table numbers, and dinner menus with each guests' names hand-calligraphed in gold ink, infusing intimacy and personalization into the guest experience.
