The Woodmark Hotel

Emily and Ryan threw the soirée of the summer—a lakeside celebration that fully embraced the spirit of a Wildflower Summer Garden Party. Guests were encouraged to lean into the dress code, arriving in bold colors, flowing fabrics, and whimsical prints that set the tone from the very start. The setting? The Woodmark Hotel, transformed with layers of playful, floral-driven design that felt equal parts curated and carefree.

The couple covered the venue in organic wildflowers, weaving color into every corner. Vines and blooms spilled down the Library’s curved staircase, while an outdoor escort card installation stopped guests in their tracks—rows of delicate bud vases lined the shelves, each holding stems in a full spectrum of pink hues.

From the start, Emily and Ryan made it clear that this wouldn’t be a formal, sit-still kind of wedding. The vibe was groovy garden party: joyful, relaxed, and just a little retro. Custom dinner menus were adorned with playful butterfly and flower motifs, a nod to the couple’s lighthearted aesthetic. Bridesmaids brought the color palette to life in a stunning gradient of lemon, coral, tangerine, lavender, peach, and soft pink—each one unique, but working together in an easy, tonal palette.

During cocktail hour, parasol umbrellas were offered as both shade and statement piece—an elegant way for guests to stay cool under the afternoon sun. Hand-scooped Frankie & Jo’s ice cream added an unexpected (and very welcome) refreshing pre-dinner treat.

Every detail was designed to delight, with nothing feeling too formal or too precious. Just a summer afternoon turned technicolor dream, and a couple who wanted their celebration to feel exactly like them—fresh, joyful, and wildly in bloom.

“From the moment we first met with her, she was a comforting and extremely knowledgeable guide. She is a seasoned expert in all the logistics that we would never know how to do. Perhaps most importantly, she was a confident and calming presence throughout the process, and especially on the day of, She made us feel comfortable, taken care of, and reassured the whole day.”
